Text Box: The global oil supply is a finite resource that we depend upon for inexpensive energy, that cannot be wasted nor inefficiently managed and whose longevity must be maximized to continue its contribution to our way of life.  Inexpensive energy is the foundation of modern society.  There is cause to celebrate the technical accomplishments of harnessing fossil energy and cherishing every morsel we produce.    Energy discovery and recovery has been underscored by technology revolutions that have improved the ability to find,  produce, refine and deliver it to energy hungry societies. Innovation is not dead, nor taken pause, always probing the status quo in the quest for new approaches that become tomorrows standard. Applied technology is the foundation of growth and improvement. We cannot be timid in our rush to find the next revolution. It can be uncovered, but only if we look.
